Thanks for stopping by! I'm curious about where cognitive science, engineering, the arts, and research intersect. I am inspired by Japanese design philosophy and the role of design in Asian countries. Previously, I was one of the earliest designers at fast-growing, "unicorn" startups working where digital meets the physical world. At @samsaraI was helping increase the efficiency and sustainability of the freight industry with IoT sensors. At @sonderI was designing the future of hospitality with an IDEO led team, by connecting the decentralized operations of onboarding tech-enabled personalized living & travel spaces.

I take the road less traveled, and I am currently temporarily settled in Taiwan. I've become quite interested in cross-cultural perspectives on technology, especially in non-anglocentric parts of the world. Since I was a kid, I have always enjoyed learning about asian culture and entertainment, traveling in various countries for extended amounts of time, (embarrassingly) watching korean and japanese variety shows (running man, busted!, hyori's b&b, terrace house, etc...).
